WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR WHEN INVESTING IN A COMPANY?

companyWhile this question is often difficult to quantify, it can be characterized by the following four criteria: Management, Market, Product, Deal (in order of importance).  In an effort not to over simplify things, these are four things I primarily evaluate when seeking to make an investment.  It’s worth mentioning some VCs prioritize market over management, however, in my experience, I’ve found that a good management team can lead you to a decent exit should the market turn south.  I’ll tackle each four of these criteria in subsequent posts.
